COVID’s Effect on Technology
Updated: Oct 18, 2020
As millions of working employees have been forced to transition to various online formats during the COVID-19 pandemic, the technology industry faces a massive challenge: helping companies and businesses thrive under new and unusual circumstances, and keeping individuals safe, healthy, and informed.
Unfortunately, tech conferences, meetings, and potential partnerships have been brought to a halt, and companies have been forced to adapt.
Historically, though, the tech world has consistently and successfully worked to create beneficial and exciting innovations, and astoundingly, these innovations have continued amidst the pandemic, such as the introduction of standard online learning, telehealth, and the utilization of VR for training purposes.
When we find ourselves professionally involved in the tech world, as we are here at Technology Based Magic.
"We must acknowledge the responsibility placed upon us, and strive to aid the public by bringing people together online."
Changes in safety policies due to Coronavirus
Businesses have made impressive strides towards solidifying pre-existing connections with customers and have made significant changes to policy and production to ensure the safety of employees and potential customers.
For example, Ping An Bank, based in China, has created a “Do It At Home” video service and has received over eight million page views, and Walgreens in the United States has implemented a drive-through shopping experience, wherein customers can remain at a safe distance while they shop for essentials (McKinsey).
Following the lead of our peer companies, and through our dedication to prime customer experience, Technology Based Magic has implemented strategic changes and improvements to guarantee that our customers feel safe and informed using TBM products. For example, we have redesigned our website, allowing potential clients to understand our products’ functioning and value.
For years, Technology Based Magic has designed virtual experiences and environments in collaboration with major companies in order to push standard limits defining the capacities of technology. Now more than ever there is a need for helpful technology that can enhance our limited physical environments. So, we work constantly to innovate with a newfound responsibility towards improving safety, health, and the well-being of our global community.
